Paul Bruner

Paul Bruner has over 35 years of experience in the LNG industry. Paul currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Operations at NextDecade since August 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Operations at NextDecade from September 2019, where they held the role until August 2023. Before joining NextDecade, Paul worked as an LNG Consultant at OPEXC Management, LLC from November 2017 to September 2019. Paul also served as the VP of LNG Operations at Veresen Inc. from October 2016 to October 2017. Before that, they worked at BG Group for several years, where they held the positions of General Manager of Operations from May 2013 to September 2016, Operations Director from September 2010 to April 2013, and General Manager of Production from September 2007 to May 2010. Prior to BG Group, they worked at ConocoPhillips Australia Pty Ltd as an Operations Team Leader from July 2003 to September 2007, and as a Startup & Commissioning Team Leader from February 1999 to July 2003. Paul began their career at Phillips 66 (Kenai LNG Plant) in 1984, where they held various LNG operational positions until January 1999.

Paul Bruner attended Bismarck State College from 1981 to 1984, where they completed an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Paul also earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Power Plant Technology from the same institution from 1982 to 1984.
