Troy Moore

Troy Moore is an experienced LNG Control Room Operator with a career spanning over two decades in the LNG industry. Currently serving at NextDecade since June 2025, Troy has developed comprehensive skills in operating world-class LNG facilities, contributing to the formulation of Standard Operating Procedures and GAP analysis for safe commissioning and startup processes. Previous positions include similar roles at Golden Pass LNG, New Fortress Energy, and Freeport LNG, where responsibilities encompassed operating large-scale LNG facilities, facilitating project development, and administering critical safety permits. Prior experience includes a tenure at Phillips 66 as a Senior DCS LNG Control Room Operator, where commendations were received for enhancing operational efficiency across multiple units and participation in significant capital projects. Troy's educational background includes studies in Industrial Technology at Northwestern State University from 1991 to 1993.
