Anthony Dao has a diverse range of work experience in the field of Android development. Anthony most recently worked at Nextdoor as an Android Developer. Prior to that, they worked at ZapLabs where they contributed to the development of the Zap CRM for Android and various consumer Android products. Anthony also has experience at DemiVision, where they worked on developing a state system for recording and analyzing sport gameplay, and at Internet Marketing Footprints, where they designed and maintained multiple Android apps for clients. Additionally, they worked at TOOLOW as an Android Developer, creating and maintaining the TooLow app. Anthony's career in Android development began after completing a 12-week intensive course at General Assembly, where they gained fluency in Android development and acquired skills in Java, Android Studio, XML, JSON, SQL, APIs, Git/Github, Google Play Services, and Android SDKs. Throughout their career, Anthony has demonstrated proficiency in various development methodologies and frameworks such as Clean Architecture, MVP, MVVM, Dagger, Retrofit, RxJava, Room, LiveData, and Dynamic features.

Anthony Dao completed a certificate course in Android Development Immersive at General Assembly in 2016. Prior to that, they attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science with a focus on Computer Game Design. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate of Completion for a Java Course from SoloLearn in September 2016.
