Jonathan Perlow is a highly experienced technology leader with a strong background in software engineering and product development. Currently serving as the Head of Software Engineering for the Application Platform at Nextdoor since March 2019, Jonathan has previously held key roles including Head of Software Engineering for Neighbor Value at Trove Technologies, Inc., and Cofounder and CTO of Beluga Inc. Jonathan was also a Principal Software Engineer at Facebook, where notable contributions included being a founding member of the team that developed Facebook Messenger, growing the platform to over 1 billion monthly active users. Prior experience includes positions at Google, where Jonathan led the Gmail chat and product engineering teams, and Microsoft as a Software Engineer Lead. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University.
