Prateek Gupta

Prateek Gupta has held multiple roles throughout their work experience. Prateek began their career as a Software Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services from October 2013 to June 2016. During this time, they developed a peer-to-peer data collection Android application for transmitting multimedia data in low network areas and worked on a system to assist Indian farmers with crop management and recommendations based on weather conditions.

Following their role at Tata Consultancy Services, Prateek served as a Teaching Assistant at San Francisco State University from February 2017 to December 2018.

In 2019, Prateek joined Token Inc. as a Software Engineer. During their tenure, they implemented data and system quality metrics for alerts and monitoring, designed and developed a data pipeline using Kafka for data collection across micro-services, and added new features and APIs for connectivity across European/UK banks and Merchants/Resellers. Prateek worked at Token Inc. until June 2022.

Currently, Prateek is working as a Software Engineer at Nextdoor, starting in June 2022.

Prateek Gupta received a Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering in 2013. Prateek later pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from San Francisco State University, completing their studies in 2019. In addition to their formal education, Prateek obtained the M101P: MongoDB for Developers certification from MongoDB in September 2018. Prateek also received the Goethe certificate for German, A1 level from Goethe-Institut e.V. in May 2014.
