Tom Closs is a seasoned media executive with extensive experience in agency and communications management. Currently serving as Global Agency Partner at Nextdoor since January 2025, Tom oversees the Horizon Media and Omnicom agency portfolio. Prior to this role, Tom worked at Horizon Media from April 2012 to October 2024 as SVP, Managing Director, where responsibilities included managing media efforts for major clients such as Capital One Credit Cards and Burger King. Tom also held various significant positions in other agencies, including Partner at Mediaedge:cia, Associate Director at MindShare, and Communications Planning Director at MediaCom, developing media strategies for notable brands such as Michelin, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Volkswagen. Tom started a career in media planning at Deutsch LA and MediaCom, contributing to campaigns for Mitsubishi and Proctor & Gamble. Tom holds degrees from Fordham Gabelli School of Business and Fordham University.
