Kris Nagy is a 21 year veteran of the US Air Force and a recognized leader who is accustomed to handling simultaneous, high-pressure situations in a professional and effective manner. In 2014, they joined NexTech Solutions LLC as the Executive Vice President of Business Development, responsible for business development, strategy and innovation for the company.
Prior to joining NexTech Solutions, Kris was a Senior Project Manager at Monsanto from 2013-2014, where they led $25M and $1M SAP projects to replace outdated IT systems. Kris also expertly managed a $25M budget for project Ascend, saving over $900K by negotiating lower contractor rates across the project.
From 2012-2013, Kris was the Operations Division Chief at the United States Air Force, where they led 110 engineers and project managed an Air Force network migration program to consolidate 845K users/400+ bases to 1 network.
From 2002-2012, Kris held various roles at the U.S. Air Force, including Deputy Director of Communications, Information Technology Operations, Executive Officer, Air Force Network Integration Center, Department Head, Technology and Interoperability Test Lab, Graduate School Student, and Information Systems Flight Commander. Kris was responsible for leading 31 engineers, directing operations of an $87M cyber network, and leading 80 engineers at the Air Force’s premier software test lab.
Kris began their career in the US Air Force in 1992 as a Ground Radar Technician, where they were responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing $40 million worth of tactical/non-tactical sensory communications equipment.
Kris Nagy has an education history that includes a High School diploma from Marquette High School (1987-1991), an A.A.S. Electronics Technology degree from the Community College of the Air Force (1995-1997), a B.S. Business Management degree with a focus in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus (1996-2001), and an M.S. Information Resource Management degree with a focus in Information Assurance and Security from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology (2008-2010). Nagy also holds certifications from ISC2 (CISSP, 2012), EXIN (ITIL V3, 2012), NSA (NSA 4012 IA Certificate, 2010), and the Project Management Institute (Project Management Professional (PMP), 2012).
