Michael Crain, CISSP

Michael Crain, CISSP, has worked in the information technology field since 1999 when they began their career in the US Army. Michael has held various roles, including Analyst/Evaluator, Cyber Division SGM, J6 SGM, Network Operations Center Manager, Information Operations Team Leader, Information Systems Team Leader, Information Systems Administrator, Global Command & Control System Administrator, and Help Desk Specialist. In 2019, they joined NexTech Solutions LLC as a Hire our Heroes Fellow. Most recently, in 2020, they began working as a Hybrid Solutions Engineer for NexTech Solutions LLC.

Michael Crain, CISSP obtained their Bachelor of Science in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2012. Michael then went on to obtain certifications from ITIL Certified, Microsoft, Project Management Institute, GIAC Certifications, Amazon Web Services (AWS), CompTIA, and Cisco. In 2018, they earned their Master of Science in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
