John Mohoang

John Mohoang has extensive work experience in the field of software development. John started their career as a Resident Assistant at Macalester College in August 2014, where they gained valuable experience in managing residential areas. In June 2016, they briefly worked as a Web Developer for the MacStartups: Entrepreneurship & Innovation Department before transitioning to the role of Lab Assistant - IT Services: Digital Resource Center. In this role, they provided technical support to lab patrons, assisting them with hardware and software issues.

In August 2015, John also took on the role of Teaching Assistant/ Preceptor in the Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science Department at Macalester College, where they likely supported faculty members in teaching and grading responsibilities.

John later joined Gradient Financial Group as a Web Developer in July 2017, where they contributed to the development of web applications.

Currently, John is working at Nextek as a Senior Software Engineer since August 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Software Engineer from August 2018.

John Mohoang began their education by obtaining a Diploma in International Baccalaureate (IB) from UWC Mahindra College from 2011 to 2013. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics at Macalester College, completing their degree in 2017. Their academic journey continued as they pursued a Master of Computer Science in Data Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2017 to 2020.
