Cory Dowers

Cory Dowers, CPA, has extensive work experience spanning multiple roles in finance and accounting. Cory began their career at Ernst & Young as a Senior Associate in 2010, where they worked until 2014. Following this, they joined American Energy Partners, LP, first as a Financial Reporting Analyst and later as an Accounting Manager. In 2016, Cory transitioned to Paycom, starting as an Assistant Controller before being promoted to Controller in 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Financial Officer at Nextep, a role they assumed in 2023.

Cory Dowers, CPA earned a BBA/MAcc degree in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma, where they studied from 2005 to 2010.
