Michael Brenzel

Michael Brenzel has a strong background in technology and engineering. Michael currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Nextern, where they started in September 2022. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder and CTO of Endogenex since September 2017. Michael also worked as a Principal at Go Products starting in June 2017.

Earlier in their career, Michael co-founded Conventus Orthopaedics in June 2009. Before that, they worked as an R&D Engineer at St. Jude Medical from 2002 to 2009. Michael also held the position of R&D Engineer / Project Manager at Restore Medical from 2000 to 2002 and worked as an R&D Engineer at Boston Scientific (Guidant) from 1998 to 2000. Michael's career began at Goodrich Sensor Systems in 1994, where they worked as an Engineer until 1996.

Michael Brenzel completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics at the University of Minnesota, where they attended from 1986 to 1990. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree specializing in Venture Management at the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business, from 1999 to 2001.
