Wesley Omer

Wesley Omer currently serves as the COO and Vice President of Global Operations at Nextern, a role held since November 2018. Prior to this, Wesley was the Vice President of Engineering at Smiths Medical, overseeing a global engineering group focused on process technology and continuous improvement from June 2014 to November 2018. Wesley's previous experience includes positions such as Senior Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and Senior Engineering Manager at Greatbatch Medical/QiG Group, where responsibilities included process development for neuromodulation leads and new product introductions. Earlier roles at St. Jude Medical and AGA Medical involved managing manufacturing processes and engineering support for advanced medical devices. Wesley holds an MBA in Operations Management from the University of St. Thomas, a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Minnesota Duluth, and is a certified Professional Project Manager from the University of St. Thomas.
