Leon Oates

Leon Oates is an experienced HR professional with a robust background in human resources management and consultancy. Currently serving as Head of Human Resources at NextGen since April 2018, Leon develops HR strategies and programs to enhance performance and employee engagement within the organization. Previous roles include Human Resources Manager and Consultant, where Leon established HR functions and resolved legacy issues. Prior experience includes People & Capability Manager at Visionstream Pty Ltd, where Leon contributed to Australia's largest mobile deployment, and HR Director at Kordia Solutions, where Leon built a strong HR team and brand. Leon also held roles in learning and development at Wrigley and Conran Restaurants, with educational qualifications including a Master’s in Business and Personnel Administration from Aston University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management from Sheffield Hallam University.
