NextGen Solar Inc. is a non-profit humanitarian organization focused on reducing maternal and neonatal mortality in developing countries by delivering dependable solar-powered lighting to remote and off-grid clinics. Many rural health facilities lack consistent electricity, forcing midwives and clinicians to perform childbirths and emergency procedures using candles, kerosene lamps, or cell-phone flashlights. Our mission is to ensure that no mother or newborn dies because of darkness.
NextGen Solar designs, distributes, and supports durable solar-lighting systems tailored specifically for medical environments. We collaborate with governments, NGOs, and global health partners to create sustainable, long-term solutions that strengthen health systems and protect lives.
NextGen Solar Inc. is also dedicated to empowering communities across developing countries by providing remote schools with reliable solar-powered lighting and delivering hands-on education on solar energy, basic electricity, and the solar system. Our mission is to bridge the educational and energy-access gaps that hinder student success and community development. By combining practical technology deployment with engaging STEM-based learning, we create sustainable improvement in educational outcomes and long-term capacity building.
