Krishnan Chellakarai

Krishnan Chellakarai is the founder and chairman of NextGen, a previous company of SAFE Identity. Krishnan has also worked with Gilead Sciences, Genentech Inc., the Northern California Cricket Association (NCCA), Stanford Hospital, NextGen Cyber Talent, Roche/Genentech, Union Bank of California, and Reuters. From 1997 to 2003, they worked as a security architect for Reuters. In 2003, they began working as a senior security architect and engineer for Union Bank of California. Krishnan held this position until 2005 when they began working as a principal and chief security architect for Roche/Genentech. Krishnan held this position until 2013 when they joined SAFE Identity as the founder and chairman.

Krishnan Chellakarai has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Madras, India. Krishnan is certified from the Digital Directors Network in Boardroom Certified Qualified Technology Expert and from ISACA in CISM.
