Lead Product Designer at Nexthink

Michael Drehlich has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of UX/UI design. Michael started their career as a web developer at Sogeti from October 2006 to May 2009. Michael then worked at ARHS Developments as a UX Designer from June 2009 to January 2017, where they focused on designing and improving the user experience of websites and web applications. Their responsibilities included designing mockups, HTML/CSS integration, and collaborating with both clients and development teams.

From February 2017 to July 2018, Michael served as a Senior UX Designer at Atos Consulting Switzerland, where they worked on various projects for Nestlé. Michael conducted user interviews, designed wireframes, performed user tests, and collaborated with technical teams on Sharepoint projects.

In 2018, Michael joined WIDE | Switzerland as a UX Specialist, where they worked until September 2019.

Since October 2019, Michael has been working at Nexthink, initially as a Senior Product Designer and then as the Lead Product Designer from April 2021. In these roles, they designed user interfaces for Nexthink products and led a team of designers. Michael collaborated with cross-functional teams and ensured the quality and consistency of the design work. Additionally, they played a key role in team management, such as hiring, workload management, and fostering a positive team culture.

Michael Drehlich attended Université de Metz from 2003 to 2004, where they pursued a Licence Systèmes Informatiques et Logiciels degree. Prior to that, they studied at Marketing Academy in London from 2001 to 2003, working towards a DUT Services et Réseaux de Communication degree. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including a UX Certificate from the Nielsen Norman Group in November 2020, a How to Design for Augmented and Virtual Reality certification from The Interaction Design Foundation in September 2019, and a Membership Certificate from The Interaction Design Foundation in June 2019.
