IT Support Team Lead at Nexthink

Ryan Morales has a diverse work experience in the IT support field. Ryan started their career at GE Digital as an IT Consultant Intern, where they gained experience in providing IT support to internal customers. Ryan then worked as an End User Support Specialist at GE Digital, where they provided daily IT support to over 200 internal customers, including C-level executives. Ryan also supported executive board meetings by setting up temporary workstations, printers, and AV equipment.

After their time at GE Digital, Ryan joined John Hancock as a Support Analyst. In this role, they provided in-person and remote IT support to employees. Ryan handled hardware and software incident/request tickets, involving various platforms and technologies such as iOS, MacOS, Windows, VPN, O365, Intune, Active Directory, and more. Ryan also temporarily took over Operations Manager responsibilities, managing the ServiceNow que.

Currently, Ryan is working at Nexthink as an IT Support Engineer. In this role, they successfully opened a new Boston office as the sole technician in the United States. Ryan set up Zoom rooms, printers/scanners, and desk configurations. Ryan collaborated with office management, infrastructure team, and vendors to ensure all items were functioning on day one.

Throughout their work experience, Ryan has demonstrated strong technical skills, customer service, and the ability to handle diverse IT support responsibilities.

Ryan Morales started their education journey by completing an Associate's Degree in Fire Science/Firefighting from El Camino College. Ryan attended from 2012 to 2015. In 2016, they enrolled in Year Up, where they pursued Information Technology but did not obtain a degree. Concurrently, from 2016 to 2020, they attended Framingham State University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.

Ryan also supplemented their education with various certifications. Ryan received the Year Up Technical Training Certificate from Year Up in January 2017. Additionally, they obtained the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PeopleCert in October 2022. In September 2021, Ryan acquired multiple certifications from Nexthink, including the Nexthink Certified Experience Associate and Nexthink Certified IT Supporter. Lastly, they obtained the Jamf Certified Associate Exam - English certification from Jamf in November 2021.
