Yasara Peiris

Yasara Peiris has a diverse work experience in software engineering and development.

In 2016, they had an internship as a Software Engineering Intern at CodeGen International, where they gained hands-on experience in software engineering.

In 2017, they served as the Women's Basketball Team Captain at the University of Moratuwa.

From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Junior Software Engineer at AIA GmbH Zuirch, specializing in the development and customization of individual software and modules as per client requirements. Yasara was also responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of client-side server environments.

In 2018, they joined CodeGen International again, this time as a Software Engineer. Yasara was involved in back-end and front-end development, REST API development, and adhered to the SCRUM process.

During the summer of 2020, they worked as a Frontend Developer Summer Intern at Pryv.

From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Freelance Web Developer at Junior Entreprise EPFL.

In 2022, they worked as a Software Developer at AlpVision before joining Nexthink as a Software Engineer later in the same year.

Yasara Peiris began their education at St.Joseph's Girls School in Nugegoda in 1998, where they completed their General Studies. From 2009 to 2012, they attended Devi Balika Vidyalaya and pursued the Physics Stream in high school. In 2014, Yasara enrolled at the University of Moratuwa, earning their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering in 2017. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Information Technology at the University of Zurich, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
