Christopher Hickey

Christopher Hickey has a diverse work experience in software engineering and digital media/marketing.

- From September 2022 to the present, they work as a Software Engineer at Nextivity.

- In 2021, they interned at LEARN Academy, where they collaborated on the Openverse Front-end project and contributed to various tasks, such as improving accessibility efforts, refactoring tests, and completing open-source issues.

- From July 2015 to May 2022, they worked as a Digital Media/Marketing Specialist at Navy Region Southwest Fleet, Family & Child Programs. In this role, they oversaw and designed marketing strategies for different naval bases, promoting base functions and programs through various media channels.

- In March and April 2022, they interned as a Full Stack Engineer at The Beehive Software, LLC, where they gained experience in building UI pages using ReactJS and Material UI CSS for client contracted applications.

From 2021 to 2022, Christopher Hickey attended LEARN Academy, where they participated in a full stack bootcamp focused on JavaScript, React JS, and Ruby on Rails. However, no degree was obtained during this time.
