Mike Hooper has a long and varied career in sales and sales management. Mike started their career in 1989 as a National Account Manager at MCI Corporation. Mike then moved to BMC Software in 1995 as a South American Sales Executive where they created the first successful Telco channel and earned multiple VP awards. In 1999, they became a Regional Manager at ServiceWare, followed by a Channel Manager role at BindView in 2004. In 2005, they were a Global Large Enterprise Sale Executive at Symantec, where they were responsible for handling major multi-national oil and gas companies and consistently exceeded their quota each year. In 2011, they became an Oil & Gas Vertical Sales Executive at NetApp, where they were responsible for 8 large Oil and Gas accounts and finished their first year at 149% of quota. From 2013-2017, they were a Vice President- Southwest at Voyant Strategies, Inc. and was responsible for communicating the company's technology vision and strategy. In 2017, they became a Senior Security Strategist at CA Technologies, responsible for collaborating with the account management team to validate and connect the client's business and IT needs relative to the CA Security solutions. Mike is currently an Area Sales Executive at NextLabs, Inc., the leading provider of policy-driven information risk management software.
