Susan Bott

Susan Bott has worked in the software engineering industry since 1989. Susan began their career as an Engineering Intern at Megatek Corporation, where they converted a graphics verification suite from C to FORTRAN. In 1990, they joined Loral Instrumentation as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for debugging software, designing, integrating, and testing solutions, and making software release tapes. In 1991, Susan moved to Amdahl Corporation as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for customizing and maintaining the software development tools used by over thirty different development teams. In 1996, they joined Adaptec, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they acted as a ClearCase and ClearDDTS administrator for ten years, including responsibility for maintaining the Oracle database used by ClearDDTS. Finally, in 2013, they joined NextLabs as a Software QA Engineer, where they created test plans and test cases, executed manual test cases, reported bugs and test results, and worked with developers, program managers, product support, and technical sales.

Susan Bott obtained a B.A. in Mathematics/Computer Science from UC San Diego between 1987 and 1991, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the same institution.
