Chaitanya Kumar CH

Chaitanya Kumar CH has worked in the GIS and GIS data processing industry for over 12 years. In 2008, they began as a Project Associate for OSGeo-India. In 2009, they became a GDAL Maintainer for OSGeo, where they provided user support, ran test scripts, fixed bugs, and added new features. In 2013, they worked as a GIS Developer for OFSDP, where they designed a Spatial Data Infrastructure and developed a WebGIS portal and database for data collection. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Sr. GIS Developer for Egis Geoplan Pvt Ltd, where they prepared solution proposals, designed, implemented, and led GIS development projects, and implemented tools for special cases of LiDAR data processing. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as a Senior Technical Lead for Cyient, where they worked on LiDAR and GIS data processing automation, and solutions for utility asset inspection via LiDAR and drone surveys. Currently, they are a Staff Engineer - Lead for NextNav.

Chaitanya Kumar CH obtained their B.Tech in Computer Science from the International Institute of Information Technology. In December 2015, they obtained a certification in Introduction to Big Data from Coursera Course Certificates.
