David Gell has 30 years of executive leadership experience in IoT, 4G/5G mobile wireless, PNT, and telecommunications. Currently, Gell works in strategy and business development at NextNav. Previously, Gell served as Chief Marketing Officer at VIE Technologies and Chief Strategy Officer at Nestwave, among other roles. Gell co-founded Cygnus Broadband, which was acquired by WiLAN, and has significant expertise in technology, product strategy, and business development, holding 65 issued patents. Gell earned a BSEE from the University of Pennsylvania and an MSEE in Control Systems from Carnegie Mellon University.
