Wei Liu

Wei Liu has worked in a variety of roles since 2004. Wei began as a Research Assistant at Peking University, then moved to Johns Hopkins University in 2007, where they acted as a Research Assistant and designed and constructed a unique broadband Corbino microwave spectrometer. In 2013, they became a Postdoctoral Fellow at Université de Genève, then in 2016, they took on the role of New Product Introduction Engineer at KLA-Tencor, where they were responsible for supporting products from NPI to mass production. Currently, they are a Sr. Sensor Product Engineer at NextNav.

Wei Liu has a comprehensive educational history. Wei obtained their PhD in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics from The Johns Hopkins University from 2006 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned an MS in Physics from Peking University from 2003 to 2006. Wei also holds a BS in Physics from Beijing Normal University, which they earned from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including a Project Management Foundmentals certificate from the International Institute for Learning in 2020, a NPI certificate from KLA in 2020, a Certificate of Data-Driven Problem Solving Six Sigma Green Belt from Global Lean Sigma in 2019, a Certificate of Design Guided Solution from KLA in 2018, and a L1 Certificate of Broadband Plasma App from KLA in 2018.
