Loïc Argelies

Loïc Argelies has a diverse and extensive work experience in the gaming and technology industry. Loïc is currently serving as the President of HotPlay, Gaming & Global Advertising Platform Division at NextPlay Technologies. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Product Officer at NextPlay Technologies.

Before joining NextPlay Technologies, Loïc held various positions at different companies. Loïc served as the Head of Studio at HotPlay.Games in 2021. In 2017, they co-founded Promethean TV and served as the Chief Product Officer. Additionally, Loïc has experience as an Owner of Casual Immersions Entertainment, where they created original and scalable IP for mobile platforms.

Loïc also worked at AZUBU as the VP of Product and Partners, where they built a world-class ecosystem of products for the brand's network of live streaming broadcasters, audiences, and business partners. At Electronic Arts (EA), they held several roles, including EA Sports Producer, Technical Director, and Senior Engineer. Loïc also served as the Technical Director for the EA Sports Central DB Group, where they created and led a database department for EA Sports franchises.

Earlier in their career, Loïc worked at CryoNetworks as a Technical Project Manager and Server Technical Lead for various MMO games. Loïc also worked as an R&D Software Engineer at CryoNetworks, where they worked on a worldwide e-business middleware.

Loïc began their career as a Comp. Sci. Teacher and Web Developer at the French Government's Gendarmerie Nationale Headquarters - CESG Learning Center. Loïc also conducted research in computer vision as a Jr Comp. Sci. Researcher at LGI2P, a French computer vision research laboratory.

Loïc Argelies attended the University of Montpellier from 1994 to 1999, where they completed a Master's degree combined with the first year of a PhD in Computer Science.
