Diego Ruiz

Diego Ruiz has had extensive experience in the field of technical support and network infrastructure. Diego started their career at Automotriz CAR-RUS as a Technology Advisor in 2004 and then moved on to Snowbit as a Support/Helpdesk Analyst in 2005. Diego then joined Zurich Financial Services as a Voice & Network Specialist, where they were responsible for network maintenance and administration. In 2009, they joined Opencrom as a Network Infrastructure Specialist, ensuring the smooth operation of communication networks. Diego then joined ITPointe Group in 2011, first as a Network Engineer and then as a Managed Services Manager, where they led and implemented Managed Services strategies and managed the day-to-day operations. Currently, Diego works at NextPointe Inc. as the Director of Technical Support. Overall, Diego has gained extensive technical support and network infrastructure experience throughout their career.

Diego Ruiz began their education at Universidad Nueva Esparta in 2003 and completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering in 2008. During their time at Universidad Nueva Esparta, they specialized in Engineering. In 2004-2005, Diego enrolled in the Cisco Networking Academy Program at Universidad 'Alejandro de Humboldt' to study Network Technologies.

In terms of additional certifications, Diego obtained the Cisco Meraki CMNA certification from Cisco Meraki in September 2018. Diego also received the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) - Collaboration certification from Cisco in April 2018. Earlier, in April 2015, they achieved the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) - Voice certification. Prior to that, in January 2012, Diego completed the Cisco Data Center Unified Computing Support Specialist certification. In December 2010, they obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) - Routing and Switching certification. Lastly, Diego received the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist certification from Microsoft Corporation in June 2010.
