Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Nextracker, having joined the company during its acquisition of OnSight Technology. They continue to lead the development of software for the OnSight technology platform, focusing on integration within the Nextracker data ecosystem. Prior to this, Ryan worked at Plainsight as a Machine Learning Engineer, where they developed a real-time Computer Vision platform, and held various engineering roles at McDermott International and the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mississippi and pursued a Master of Computer Science at Arizona State University.
