Sean Riskin

Sean Riskin currently serves as the Sr. Director of Mechanical Engineering at Nextracker Inc. since March 2024. Previously, Sean held the position of Sr. Director of Engineering at SynAgile from 2021 to 2023, where leadership in engineering team development and product innovation was emphasized. Prior roles include Director of Engineering at Stanley Engineered Fastening from 2011 to 2020, overseeing a global team and driving innovation in precision mechanical components with significant revenue impact. Sean's experience also includes positions at BAE Systems as a Project Engineer, leading a Department of Defense project, and at Alcan as a Project Manager. Early career roles encompass engineering and project management at various companies, including product development work at Shoulder Rayz and sales experience at The Good Guys. Sean holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University.
