Paul Brown

Paul Brown has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Paul most recently worked at Nextran Truck Centers as the Senior Director of Sales since November 2020. Prior to that, they served as the President of TransPower, Inc. from an unspecified time in 2018 until November 2020, where they successfully turned the company's operations from a loss to a profit within the first fiscal year.

From 2016 to 2018, Paul worked at Interstate NationaLease, Inc. as the Senior Vice President of Operations, overseeing 18 facilities and maximizing the performance of maintenance operations, personnel, and expenses. Before that, they held the position of Vice President of Sales & Marketing at the same company from 2011 to 2013, where they led the transformation of an underperforming sales organization and achieved significant sales growth and profitability increases.

Paul also has experience as a Volunteer, serving as a Men's Lacrosse Coach at various high schools from 2011 to 2017. During this time, they mentored and coached lacrosse teams, achieving record-breaking results and earning recognition as "Coach of the Year" by their peers.

Earlier in their career, Paul worked at Ryder System, Inc. as a Business Development Manager from 2005 to 2011. Paul was responsible for improving the performance of the Fleet Management Solutions business unit and achieved impressive sales results, securing a significant portion of new business.

Prior to that, they worked at Penske Truck Leasing from 1999 to 2004, initially as a District Rental Manager and later as a Lease Sales Representative. In these roles, they turned around underperforming operations, strengthened client relationships with national corporations, and developed new business deals with c-level managers.

Paul Brown attended Virginia Wesleyan University from 1991 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies. Later, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
