Alex Verbny

Alex Verbny is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in various domains, currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at NextRoll since August 2019. With a background as Co-Founder of Closed Form Solutions from July 2017 to June 2019, Alex developed algorithmic approaches for fantasy sports competitions, creating automated systems for data retrieval and player predictions. Earlier experience includes roles as Economist II at Pacific Economics Group Research LLC, where Alex built econometric models for public utilities, and as a Data Scientist at Fortel Forecasting, focusing on demand forecasting for beverage distributors. Alex holds a Master of Science in Economics and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Economics, all from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
