Xiaoyu Hu

Xiaoyu (Martin) Hu is a seasoned data science professional currently serving as a Senior Data Science Engineer at NextRoll since January 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer specializing in Machine Learning at Apple through Infosys from December 2018 to January 2022, and a brief position as a Data Scientist at Package InSight, LLC, where automation and advanced analytics projects were developed using Python. Xiaoyu's academic background comprises a PhD in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Health Monitoring from Clemson University, where significant research contributions were made, including the development of an anomaly detection technique and a comprehensive data analysis pipeline. Xiaoyu also holds a Master's degree from Syracuse University and a Bachelor's degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, supplemented by a MOOC course in Data Science from DataCamp.
