Benjamin Haslem

Benjamin Haslem is the Head of Communications & PR at NextSense and a co-host of the Up The Creek podcast. With over 30 years of experience in public affairs, they have held various roles, including Principal at Haslem Communications, Senior Media Manager at McKinnon, and CEO at Jackson Wells Morris. Benjamin co-founded and led Wells Haslem Mayhew Strategic Public Affairs from 2012 to 2022, managing a diverse client base across multiple sectors. Their career began as a journalist at The Australian, where they built extensive networks within the media and politics, contributing to their expertise in strategic communications and issues management. Benjamin holds a BA from the University of Sydney and a Grad Dip in Communication from the University of Technology Sydney.
