John Holden is an experienced commercial leader and STEM ambassador specializing in strategy, business development, sales, product management, and marketing. They led the sales group at The Numerical Algorithms Group (NAG) from 2002 to 2020, successfully driving growth in the Financial Services sector. In their role as Chief Commercial Officer at NAG from 2020 to 2024, they were responsible for the company's strategic direction alongside executive colleagues. Currently, John serves as the Director of Business Development at NextSilicon and has been committed to fostering youth engagement in STEM since 2017 through volunteer work at a local Code Club. John holds an MSc in Integrated Management Systems from the University of Birmingham and a BSc in Mathematics and Finance from Aberystwyth University.
