Micah Hedrick

Micah Hedrick has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Micah has held various roles in multiple organizations, showcasing their expertise in compliance, security, program management, and software development.

Micah began their career with the U.S. Army in 1991, serving as an Armor Officer and later as an Intelligence Officer. During their tenure, they led intelligence activities in Iraq, liaised with Iraqi officials, and provided expertise in implementing information systems for the Iraq Ministry of Interior.

In 2000, Micah joined J.D. Edwards as a Developer Lead and played a crucial role in designing complex demand scheduling enhancements and leading receipt accounted refactoring projects.

Micah then transitioned to PeopleSoft in 2003, working as a Project Lead. Micah managed a development team, resolved customer escalations, and improved support development processes.

Micah joined Oracle in 2005, where they held various roles, including Manager of Software Development, Product Manager, and Senior Program Manager. Micah successfully coordinated product management and development teams, oversaw the delivery of integrated interfaces, and managed technical projects related to Oracle Fusion CRM and Siebel products. Micah also played a key role during the transition of RightNow to Oracle.

In 2012, Micah joined Compassion International, where they worked as a Senior Program Manager, Sr. Manager of Process & Engagement, and Senior Solution Architect. Micah led IT transformation programs, provided technology advice, facilitated engagements between internal and external stakeholders, and conducted research to support business transformation programs.

Micah's most recent role is with Nextworld®, where they have served as a Senior Implementation Specialist, Security, Privacy, and Compliance Officer, Director of Compliance, and currently as the Senior Director of Compliance and Security.

Micah Hedrick completed an MBA in Management of Information Systems from The University of New Mexico from 1997 to 2000. Before that, from 1987 to 1991, they pursued a BA in Political Science and History from the University of Oklahoma. Additionally, they hold certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)®.
