Cory Kramer has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity, networking, and solution architecture. They currently hold the position of Principal Security Engineer at Nexum, Inc. since December 2022.
Prior to this, Cory worked at LogicalisUS from September 2015 to November 2022, first as a Sr. Solution Architect specializing in Cisco Route/Switch, Security, and Datacenter networking, and then as a Principal Architect - Cybersecurity.
Before joining LogicalisUS, Cory worked as a Brewer Assistant at Fatheads Brewery from September 2013 to September 2016.
From August 2010 to September 2015, Cory worked at MCPc as a Solution Architect, specializing in Cisco Network, Voice, and Security. They also served as the Manager of Northern Ohio Networking for a brief period in 2014.
Cory started their career as a Network Engineer at Key Bank from March 2007 to August 2010.
Prior to working at Key Bank, Cory worked at the City of Cleveland in various roles. They were a Network Analyst - Cleveland Water from May 2005 to March 2007, responsible for LAN/WAN engineering and network security. Before that, they worked as a Network Analyst - Public Safety from August 2003 to May 2005.
Cory began their professional journey as a Network Administrator at Brohl & Appell from November 2000 to August 2003, where they focused on Windows servers, Cisco routers, PC's, and printers, with additional consulting work for clients in the area.

Cory Kramer attended Lorain County Community College from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained an Associate of Business degree with a field of study in Information Technology. Following that, from 2005 to 2007, Cory attended Colorado Technical University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Information Technology.
In addition to their formal education, Cory obtained several certifications. In 2009, they received the CCIE certification from Cisco. In 2018, they achieved the Aruba Certified Switching Associate (ACSA) certification from Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company. Most recently, in October 2022, Cory obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)².
