Peter McDermott

Peter McDermott is an experienced professional in project management and energy conservation, with a diverse background in municipal roles at Gateshead Council and significant contributions to major projects at Nexus and Amey. Initially serving as an Energy Conservation Officer, Peter led a European project focused on local energy leadership and undertook property condition surveys and landlord licensing initiatives. As a Principal Planner for Major Projects, Peter managed a £16 million procurement for the Gateshead District Energy Scheme. At Nexus, Peter acted as Project Manager for a £55 million contract, exemplifying strong leadership in multi-disciplinary project environments.
