There are few people living in Tyne and Wear whose daily lives are not touched in some way by Nexus.  Whether it's getting to work, education, family days out, nights out or sporting activities, our Metro, bus and ferry network provides sustainable, reliable and affordable travel. 

The public transport  we plan, provide and promote improves the economic prosperity of North East England and the daily lives of its people. 

We're also looking to the future, creating the travel networks people will want to use in decades to come. 

Nexus is the Tyne and Wear Passenger Transport Executive and administers funds on behalf of the Tyne and Wear Integrated Transport Authority.
