Alan Messner

Alan Messner has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Alan most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer and Managing Partner at Nexus Communications Technology since August 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Director of Business Engineering at the same company from May 2021 to August 2022. Before joining Nexus Communications Technology, Messner worked as a Senior Network Engineer at the company from January 2016 to May 2021.

Messner also has experience in the fitness industry, as they were a Franchise Owner at GYMGUYZ- Barrington from August 2018 to June 2019. Alan previously served as the Director of Marketing at GYMGUYZ from May 2015 to January 2016.

Additionally, Messner has held executive positions in non-profit organizations. Alan was the Executive Director of COORC.org from January 2014 to January 2016, focusing on clean energy initiatives. Prior to that, they served as the CEO of Sustainable Energy Corp. from December 2010 to January 2015, where they worked on micro-power generation plants.

Messner also has experience in consulting roles, having worked as a Consultant at Gerson Lehrman Group from August 2006 to December 2012 and as a Consultant at Kelly Financial Resources from 2007 to 2008.

Earlier in their career, Messner held executive positions in telecommunications companies. Alan served as the CEO of AllTec USA LLC. from April 2010 to August 2011, where they provided premier solutions for internet, VOIP, mobile internet, and more. Alan also worked as the COO of Express Wireless LLC from June 2008 to June 2009, successfully expanding the organization.

Messner began their career as the CEO of Thirdstone Aircraft Leasing from August 2005 to January 2007, where they focused on aircraft leasing.

Alan Messner received their Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunication Management from Devry University, where they studied from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, they attended Fremd High School from 1986 to 1990.
