Roxana D.

Roxana D. began their professional career in 2011 as a Summer Research Student at Imperial College London. Roxana then worked as a Support Analyst at Brighter Option, a Facebook advertising management tool.

In 2012, Roxana had two internships as a Software Developer Intern at Bank of America and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Roxana also worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Imperial College London during this time.

Starting in 2014, Roxana joined Facebook as a Software Engineer Intern. Roxana then transitioned to a full-time role as a Software Engineer, where they worked until 2019.

In 2019, Roxana was a member of the EF LD12 Cohort at Entrepreneur First, a program that funds individuals and helps them build co-founding teams and accelerate through fundraising. Roxana also co-founded Nectar, a company focused on making Kubernetes easy to use for developers, where they served as the Co-founder and CTO for a few months.

Currently, Roxana is working as the Chief Technology Officer at Nexus Mutual, where they are involved in building the future of the company.

Roxana D. completed their education with a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computing from Imperial College London, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended Alexandru cel Bun High School from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Romanian Baccalaureate with a focus on Mathematics and Computer Science.
