Deepak Anand

Deepak Anand currently serves as the Associate Director of Imaging AI at nference, a position held since March 2022, after previously being a Data Science Manager. Prior to nference, Deepak was the Head of Artificial Intelligence at Griffyn Robotech Pvt. Ltd. from January 2020 to March 2022. Deepak also has an extensive background in research, having worked at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from January 2014 to January 2020, focusing on deep learning applications for cancer diagnosis and prognosis, as well as optimization and control of multi-agent systems. Earlier experience includes serving as a Project Engineer at IIT Hyderabad, where development of piezoelectric sensors was a key responsibility. Deepak holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute and a Doctor of Philosophy from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, specializing in deep learning for digital pathology and radiology.
