Prerna Singh

Prerna Singh is a seasoned researcher currently serving as the Lead Research Scientist at nference since June 2020. With a strong background in biomedical engineering, Prerna previously worked as a Research Associate in Computer Vision at Johns Hopkins Biomedical Engineering, where a neuron detection algorithm for CLARITY scans was developed using advanced machine learning techniques. Academic roles include tutoring at The Johns Hopkins University and internship experiences at University at Buffalo in Machine Learning and Data Science. Prerna also contributed to novel ACL surgical repairs at Johns Hopkins Medicine and co-founded Kaleyedos, a startup focused on creating affordable infant retinal imaging devices. Educational qualifications include ongoing MD/PhD studies in Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
