Tyler Wagner

Tyler Wagner, Ph.D has a diverse work experience background. Tyler currently holds the position of Vice President of Biomedical Research at nference since March 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Director and Head of Biomedical Research at the same company. Tyler also worked as a Principal Investigator and Research Scientist at nference.

In addition, Tyler has held roles at other organizations. Tyler was the Vice President of Biomedical Research at Anumana, Inc. starting from February 2021. Before that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Weiss Lab, MIT and held the position of PHD Graduate Student, specializing in the Weiss lab, at Boston University/Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Tyler also worked as a Research Assistant at the Gehrke Lab, MIT and a Teaching Assistant at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Tyler started their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at MIT School of Engineering, where they were a part of the 2011 International Genetically Engineered Machines (iGEM) team. Tyler also gained experience in administrative roles as an Administrative Assistant at the FDA and as a Civilian Contractor at the U.S. Army Research Laboratory.

Tyler Wagner, Ph.D, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 2008 to 2012. Tyler then pursued further education at Boston University, where they acquired a Master of Science degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy degree in the same field. Tyler completed both their Master's and Ph.D degrees at Boston University from 2012 to 2017.
