Andrew Patton

Andrew Patton, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Analytical Research & Governance for the National Football League (NFL) since March 2022, where responsibilities include leading data science tooling and infrastructure development across various operational areas. In conjunction, Andrew also holds the position of Adjunct Professor at the University of San Francisco and has experience as a Senior Data Scientist at PatientsLikeMe, LLC. and ICF. Andrew's academic journey culminated in a PhD from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, focusing on exposure science and environmental epidemiology, complemented by a Master of Science in Environmental Management and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Toxicology. Andrew's broad expertise encompasses predictive modeling, machine learning, public health research, and data science consulting with a specialization in sports analytics.
