Billy Langenstein

Billy Langenstein, MBA, CSSP, serves as the Senior Director of Security Services and Investigation at the National Football League (NFL) since October 2018, having previously held the position of Director of Security Services and Investigation. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Event Services at SMG and Event Manager at Festival Management Services, where responsibilities included ensuring successful execution of large-scale events. Langenstein also contributed to the Washington Nationals as Director of Event Operations, working on various initiatives to enhance guest experience and overall operations. An adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota, Langenstein taught undergraduate courses in event and facility management. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Maryland and an M.A. in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University, complemented by a B.A. in Communication from the University of Maryland. Langenstein is also certified through the IAVM Academy for Venue Safety and Security.
