Christopher Hoyte

Christopher Hoyte, MD, MBA, serves as the Medical Director at the Rocky Mountain Poison & Drug Center since July 2018 and holds the position of Professor and Associate Vice Chair of Emergency Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine since July 2023. Additionally, Christopher has been a Visiting Team Medical Liaison for the National Football League since August 2015 and serves as President of the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology since September 2022. As Fellowship Director at Rocky Mountain Poison & Drug Safety since July 2015, Christopher also practices as an Emergency Medicine Attending Physician at UCHealth since July 2010. Previously, Christopher served as Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine from July 2012 to June 2018. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from Princeton University, a Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, completion of a Medical Toxicology Fellowship Program at Cook County Hospital, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado Denver Business School.
