Jayla Thornton is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sports administration and media. Currently serving as a MAP Premier League Fellow at the Make A Play Foundation since July 2020, Jayla has been involved in various roles, including a Front Office Management Trainee and a D-League Fellow, where leadership and business initiatives were emphasized. Additionally, as a Personal Sports Administrative Assistant for Bryan Cook of the Kansas City Chiefs, Jayla manages a busy calendar and oversees contracts and event scheduling. Experience at the National Football League includes participation in the competitive ‘Experienceship’ program, contributing to significant events such as the 2021 NFL Draft.
