John Beam

John Beam is currently the Athletic Director and Head Football Coach at Laney College, a position in which they oversee seven sports, manage budgets, and lead facilities development. Previously, John served as a Running Backs Coach, Offensive Coordinator, and Head Football Coach at the same institution, where they actively promoted student athletes and maintained compliance with Title IX. John's extensive experience also includes roles as Athletic Director and Head Coach at Skyline Senior High School, as well as positions with the Oakland Raiders and the NFL, where they organized youth football development programs. John holds a Master's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from California State University, Hayward, where they also earned a Bachelor's degree in the same field.
