Wayne Smith

Wayne Smith has extensive experience in law enforcement and management, currently serving as an Integrity Representative for the National Football League since August 2022 and as a Supervisor for Plain Clothes Law Enforcement Teams at Mercedes Benz Stadium since August 2016. In addition, Wayne is the Owner of Tier1 Professional, a company specializing in custom holsters and accessories, established in January 2010. Wayne retired as the Special Agent in Charge at the Atlanta Field Office in February 2023 after a distinguished career with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, where roles included Special Agent in Charge and Special Agent in Charge for the Office of the Deputy Director for Investigations from January 1987 to December 2022. Academically, Wayne holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Parker College of Business-Georgia Southern University and a Master's in Public Administration from Georgia State University, supplemented by training at the FBI National Academy in 2008.
