Altus Network Solutions, Inc. was founded in 1997 to offer high-level consulting services for Microsoft and Cisco products.  nFront Security was established in June 2007 to carry forward the sales and marketing efforts for nFront Password Filter (formerly Passfilt Pro).

The company’s prominent program, nFront Password Filter, protects data integrity by establishing password policies that prevent the use of easily hacked passwords. This enforcement tool is available for Windows Active Directory and Microsoft SQL servers. Companies in more than 40 countries and numerous Fortune 100 companies use nFront Password Filter to meet SOX, HIPAA, NERC-CIP and PCI requirements.
