Sumit Ghosh

Sumit Ghosh has a diverse work experience in various software engineering roles. Sumit started their career at American Express as a Software Engineer Intern, where they contributed to the development of an enterprise-level infrastructure monitoring platform and designed an automation tool for system self-healing.

Subsequently, Sumit joined the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi as a System Administrator. There, they implemented an OAuth-based authentication system and efficiently managed servers to ensure optimal performance.

Sumit then worked at Harmonic as a Software Engineer, where they wrote comprehensive unit tests for a suite of microservices, refactored and overhauled key microservices for improved speed, and developed a high-quality API layer using FastAPI.

As an Independent Consultant, Sumit worked with a diverse range of clients, from solopreneurs to medium-sized businesses. Sumit used various technologies, including Python, Selenium, Flask, Django, AWS, and more, to deliver software solutions.

At Solvent Protocol, Sumit worked as a Software Engineer, focusing on developing and refactoring smart contracts on Solana. Sumit also created TypeScript SDKs, implemented a caching layer for on-chain transactions and states, and ensured the security and vulnerability-free functioning of the smart contracts.

Currently, Sumit is working as a Software Engineer at NFTY Labs. Here, they are responsible for developing Ethereum smart contracts, working on the React frontend, and utilizing technologies such as Solidity, TypeScript, React, and more.

Sumit Ghosh completed their education from 2016 to 2021 at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Sumit pursued an Integrated BTech and MTech degree in Computer Science during this time. In addition to their formal education, Sumit also obtained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2019.
